Grupo Folklórico Libertad de Las Vegas (GFLLV) is a distinguished and award-winning Mexican folklorico group that stands as a beacon of cultural excellence and artistic achievement. Under the visionary leadership of our founders Karla Garcia-Cardenas and Juan Aburto-Cardenas since 2017, GFLLV was bestowed with the remarkable honor of being recognized by the City of Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn G. Goodman as the pioneering "grupo" folklorico representing Mexico in Las Vegas, Nevada. This historic proclamation serves as a testament to our unwavering commitment to preserving the authentic spirit of Mexico's vibrant traditions. GFLLV places a strong emphasis on authenticity and respect for Mexico's traditions. Our mission is clear: to accurately represent, educate, and preserve Mexico's traditional folklore through the captivating medium of dance.
